Who operates this site
LandBank is a trading name used by a sole trader. It is not a limited company. Email contact is sam@landbank.energy. Our service address is being finalised and will appear here once confirmed; in the meantime the enquiry form on this website also reaches us directly.
Purpose of the site — no offer
This website describes, in general terms, what LandBank does and the kind of land that may be of interest for large-scale grid-export solar. It is not an offer, an invitation to treat, or any form of commitment, and it does not form part of any contract.
LandBank's role, and what sits downstream
LandBank is an origination business. We identify land that may have a better commercial use, screen it on the available evidence, establish whether there is genuine landowner interest, and introduce opportunities that appear worth progressing.
We do not develop, design, build, install, fund or operate solar projects, we are not the grid applicant, and we are not the contracting party for any project. Formal grid applications, surveys and design, planning due diligence, title and legal work, commercial terms, contracting and delivery are matters for the downstream project company and its appointed advisers and contractors.
No guarantees
Nothing on this site is a guarantee or prediction. In particular, we do not guarantee:
- that any site is or will be viable;
- the availability, cost or timing of a grid connection, or any grid capacity;
- any planning outcome;
- any level of solar yield or generation;
- any project revenue, landowner income or payment structure;
- any finance terms; or
- that a project will be built, commissioned, or continue over any stated term.
An initial LandBank screen is origination-level work. It is not formal due diligence, a grid offer, planning permission, a survey, a valuation or a project offer.
The indicative scale tool
The acreage tool on this site produces indicative technical scale only, using broad land-density assumptions. It shows no monetary figures and infers no income. Site shape, setbacks, terrain, environmental and planning constraints, grid arrangements and detailed design all affect what a site could actually support.
No professional advice
We do not provide financial, tax, legal, planning, environmental or engineering advice. You should take your own professional advice before entering into any agreement concerning your land.
Intellectual property
